Firstly let me say "Thanks lads for stepping in at the last minute" Due to a cock up by the band listed due to no fault of there own let me say, Vamp stepped in at the final hour. The gig was great the fans who had come to see the original band stayed all night with comments of "never seen these before great band" and "When have you got these booked in again" They did a cracking 2 sets of classics and played them well. The bikers came in on there second set as they all went off to a party, but beer fueled they were rocking away. You always know when the band is good when Billy says "Cracking band that" nuff said.

If you missed this gig you missed a brilliant night at the tap, the night started slow with this been January and all the xmas excess to pay for crowds were expected to be on the low side, How wrong can you get it as the band were setting up the doors opened and did not stop the place was packed. The band played some classic numbers and there rendition of Smoke on the water was mind blowing Chris on the keyboards was like a man possessed with the crowd gob smacked it was the only time the bar staff got a break as people forgot to order beer!!!! The second set JUST KNOCKED the crowd out and they were rocking away, the only thing was if you were taking an order you could not hear what the people wanted the clapping was that loud. The band kept saying "Thanks and goodnight" the crowd had other ideas with shouts of "More more" the band could not get off stage. Keep checking the gig list for this band and make sure you see them next time you will not be disappointed.

The Brewery Tap is an eighteen plus venue. Children are welcome until 8pm if with an adult. Children of fourteen and upwards can come to shows if accompanied by their parent/s and with prior consent of the management, although no more than 2 fourteen plus per adult. And please if we do agree to let children of 14+ in do not buy them Beer/Lager/Alco pops it is against the law!! Under 18's can only drink soft drinks some people have abused this agreement and been asked to leave the premises DON'T SPOIL IT FOR OTHERS.
Please note: we only accept Passports or Photo Driving Licenses as acceptable proof of age. We do NOT accept any other form of age identification. We do NOT accept any national proof of age scheme cards. If you are lucky enough to look young, you will need I.D or you will be turned away at the door.
Access and Disabled Facilities
Wheelchair access is good as we are ground level. There is a disabled toilet available.
